With very short notice I was invited to Vannes, France by Street-Art Avenue we both took a chance to make a wall happen in this Vannes and with many logistics to be sorted at such short notice we made it happen.
This Image is the first of an ongoing series of two woman portraits I plan on painting over the next few months. To me they portray an idea of female solidarity and companionship, something which isn't communicated enough in todays media.
It was by coincidence that I painted this wall in Britany, France right opposite the Paliis des Arts which has a large sculpture with the names of 2000 french inspirational people. I was told that only 40 women feature on that list. I wanted my work to bring attention to women in the area regardless of them being validated in the sculpture or not.
If you can read French there is an article about my visit here
